Kailee Matischuk, of Keric Funk Salon, couldn’t have even imagined the outcome the day she agreed to participate in a salon project focusing on submitting a photo to Redken’s “Own the Cover Contest” back in January last year.
Today she holds the title and the privilege to have her work gracing the cover of Canadian Hairdresser Magazine (Dec/Jan issue). She also receives a 1 year contract with Ford Modeling Agencies which could place her at “Fashion Week” events across Canada, possibly do work on Canada’s Next Top Model, Zink Magazine runway shows, fashion shoots etc.
Along with a Diesel shopping spree, Kailee won Redken Dollars to be put towards furthering her education. “I think there’s so much talent in Kenora and it’s such an honour to be recognized on a national level, especially when you’re from a small City.” Congratulations Kailee!
